A Moscow regional court has sentenced thief-in-law Sergei Brazhensky, nicknamed Rams, who ran an organized criminal group and attempted to sell drugs, to nine years and three months in prison in a high-security penal colony. This was reported on May 28 by a correspondent of Izvestia from the courtroom.
It is specified that Brazhensky had the status of a thief in law since 1993. He was involved in coordinating the actions of organized crime groups in Moscow and the Moscow region. In addition, Rams established and maintained contacts with other criminal authorities, including Shishkan (Oleg Medvedev).
During a personal search, a package of heroin was seized from the defendant. They also found in his car, probably, a fake ID of a law enforcement officer with the rank of colonel. The case against Brazhensky, according to the Moscow Regional Court, began in July 2024.

Earlier, on May 12, the court recovered more than 44 million rubles from convicted members of the Taganskaya organized crime group. Depending on their role in the group, the attackers were found guilty of, among other things, creating and participating in an armed gang and criminal community, murder, kidnapping, and theft. It was clarified that the organized criminal group was organized back in the early 1990s, and its activities were suppressed in 2019.
