Peskov called Istanbul a possible place for negotiations with Ukraine.

Istanbul is being considered as one of the possible venues for the next round of negotiations between Russia and Ukraine. This was announced on May 28 by Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov.
When asked about the preferred venues for negotiations, Peskov noted that Istanbul, where the first round of negotiations had previously taken place, could at least become such a venue. He stressed that the final choice depends on the mutual agreement of the parties.
"Istanbul is being considered. Yesterday [Russian Foreign Minister Sergei] Lavrov spoke about this," the Kremlin spokesman added.
Earlier in the day, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky announced that he was ready to take part in a trilateral meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin and his American counterpart Donald Trump. According to him, he agrees to "any format," but on one condition: the President of Ukraine wants to choose a platform for the next negotiations.
Lavrov said that a new round of talks between Moscow and Kiev would be announced soon. According to him, Russia is constantly offering Ukraine to resolve the conflict through dialogue and diplomacy.
