Shoigu announced the strengthening of partnership between the Russian Federation and the UAE

The trusting nature of the dialogue between the leaders of Russia and the United Arab Emirates (UAE) strengthens the partnership between the countries. This was stated by Secretary of the Russian Security Council Sergei Shoigu at a meeting with Secretary General of the UAE Supreme National Security Council Ali Al Shamsi.

According to Shoigu, the strengthening of the strategic partnership between the states is facilitated by a "regular, trusting dialogue between the leaders" of the two states.

"We keep the implementation of the agreements reached under special control. Contacts through the security councils make a special contribution to the development of the bilateral strategic partnership," the Secretary General is quoted as saying.

In addition, Shoigu said that this year the first Russian-Arab summit will be held in Moscow on October 15, which will "demonstrate the achieved level" of cooperation.
