Telegram will receive $300 million from Musk's company under an annual partnership agreement

Telegram and the xAI company of American billionaire Elon Musk have signed a partnership agreement for a year. This was announced by the founder of the messenger Pavel Durov.

"Telegram will receive $300 million in cash and shares from xAI, as well as 50% of the proceeds from xAI subscriptions sold through Telegram," Durov wrote on the social network X (ex. Twitter).

According to Durov, the key area of interaction will be the distribution of the Grok chatbot among Telegram users and its integration into mobile and web applications of the platform.

On March 26, Musk announced that the Grok chatbot had become available on Telegram. It was clarified that the chatbot is available for free for Telegram Premium subscription holders.
