A teenage trainee was electrocuted at the Buzhaninovo railway station near Sergiev Posad.

In the Moscow region, a teenager was injured by electric shock on the Yaroslavl direction of the Moscow Railway (MZhD), an inspection is underway. This was reported on Wednesday, May 28, in the press service of the Western Interregional Investigative Department for Transport (MCT) of the Investigative Committee of Russia.

The department clarified that on the evening of May 27, at the Buzhaninovo railway station, a minor born in 2012 was electrocuted due to a dangerous hobby of hooking up while moving on the protruding parts of an electric train. The victim was hospitalized with various injuries.

"The investigator of the Investigative Committee of Russia is conducting a set of verification measures aimed at establishing all the circumstances, causes and conditions of the incident," the Moscow City News agency quoted the message as saying.

The day before, in St. Petersburg, investigators opened a criminal case into the death of a teenager from electric shock.

It is specified that he was on the roof of an electric train, as a result of which he received an electric shock from the contact network at the Lanskaya railway station.

Earlier, on March 12, employees of the Central Suburban Passenger Company and the Mytishchi administration conducted another security raid. Propaganda leaflets were distributed to people at Perlovskaya station.
