Forecasters predict a significant increase in wind in the Trans-Baikal Territory on May 29. Residents of the region are asked to exercise caution.
According to forecasts, the wind speed will reach 30 m/s. This is reported by ChitaMedia news agency with reference to the regional Department of the Ministry of Emergency Situations. It is recommended to avoid insufficiently strong structures and not park cars near trees and buildings.
An emergency regime is in effect in the region, and therefore campfires and open-fire work are prohibited.
On May 27, frosts and sleet were recorded in the Novosibirsk Region and the Altai Territory. Winter will leave Siberia by the weekend.
