The Victory bloc condemned the decision of the Moldovan authorities to close the Russian House.

The closure of the Russian House in Chisinau does not meet the interests of Moldovan citizens. This was reported on May 28 in the Telegram channel of the opposition political bloc Pobeda.

"The Pobeda bloc condemns the decision of the parliamentary commission on Foreign policy and European integration, which approved the withdrawal from the agreement on cultural cooperation with Russia," the bloc said in a statement.

It is reported that the closure of the Russian House in Chisinau is an attempt by the current Moldovan authorities to hide failures in domestic policy through high-profile foreign policy actions. According to the Victory block, the republic's leadership "does not care" about the opinion of the people.

"Moldova's future should be built on respect, not on confrontation and prohibitions," the association concluded.
