Sobyanin took part in the parade of the Cadet movement of Moscow

Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin, Russian Minister of Education Sergei Kravtsov and Patriarch Kirill took part in the parade of the capital's Cadet movement, which took place on Poklonnaya Gora.

This parade became an anniversary, it was dedicated to the 80th anniversary of victory in the Great Patriotic War. "52 crews are participating, including those from Lugansk, Kherson and Brest, Belarus," Sobyanin said.

The mayor also spoke about the development of cadet education in the city: more than 28 thousand children study in specialized classes. They are brought up with an emphasis on erudition, physical development, service to the motherland and people, the mayor emphasized. According to Sobyanin, many children participate in the activities of volunteer organizations.

In the current academic year, the mayor continued, Moscow began to pay special attention to military-patriotic clubs.
