The poster and trailer of the crime comedy "Gel" have been released

The film company Ol Media Company (part of the START group of companies), together with the online cinema START, the REN TV channel and 74 Film Studio, presented a poster and trailer for the driving comedy Gel. The film will be released on big screens on September 11, 2025. The film's distributor is NMG Kinoprokat (part of the National Media Group holding). The television premiere is on the REN TV channel.

According to the plot, for the sake of a comfortable future for his family, trucker Sanya (Ilya Malakov) decides to overtake an obviously criminally acquired "Volkswagen" or simply "Gel". The trip turns into a police chase that pits Sanya against police Captain Orekhov (Anton Vasiliev). This meeting will change their lives forever.

In the director's chair is Stas Ivanov ("JUZZZ", "The Germans", "High Season", etc.). The ensemble cast includes Ilya Malakov, Anton Vasiliev, Viktor Dobronravov, Anton Kuznetsov, Daria Melnikova, Juliet Shabanova and others.

Stas Ivanov, director of photography: "Gelya is my kind of homage to the crime comedy genre. The main character, Sanya, is trying at all costs to get from point A to point B behind the wheel of a pink car he stole. All his adventures fit into one day of the story and an hour and a half of screen time. This is a comedy with a rather curious plot and colorful characters from the action movies of the 90s. A good fairy tale for adults, in which the main character wanted to solve everything: "If possible, on a good one."

Anton Vasiliev, actor: "I'm waiting for a dashing, funny, original story. I hope the energy and drive that were present during the creation of this painting will be passed on to the viewer. I would really like to adopt the main character trait of my character — not to be discouraged, no matter what. I took his catchphrase "We can solve it!" from the script to life."
