RPL champion Krasnodar signed a contract with Brazilian defender Jubal


Russian Premier League (RPL) champion Krasnodar has signed a contract with Brazilian Jubal Rocha Mendes Junior. This was announced on May 28 by the press service of the football club (FC).
"The central defender will join our club as a free agent. The two—year agreement with him comes into force on June 1," the FC Telegram channel says.
It is noted that in the last five years, the Brazilian has played for the French club Auxerre, where he played 180 matches, in which he scored 20 goals.
"I am very happy to sign a contract with Krasnodar. <...> I am ready to give my best to ensure that the team continues to achieve its goals," said Zhubal.
Krasnodar beat Dynamo Moscow 3-0 on May 24 in the match of the 30th round of the Russian Premier League and became the Russian football champion for the first time in history. At the same time, it was reported that striker Fedor Smolov, midfielder Yuri Gazinsky and goalkeeper Yuri Dupin left the football club after winning the championship.
