A new temperature record was recorded in the Amur region


A series of temperature records have been recorded in the Amur region over the past 24 hours. According to weather forecasters, the heat peak has not passed yet.
According to PriamurMedia news agency, on May 27 in the afternoon in Blagoveshchensk the air warmed up to +33.4 degrees. The previous record has been in effect since 1947, when the temperature rose to +32.8 degrees.
In addition, the record night temperature was updated, which on May 28 was +21.1 degrees. The previous record had been in effect since 2017 and was +15.8 degrees.
Forecasters note that records will continue to be updated. The heat is expected to peak on May 29.
Doctors remind us that heat creates an increased load on the heart and blood vessels, which is dangerous for hypertension and coronary heart disease. Citizens are advised to avoid overheating and not go outside from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., when the maximum UV index is observed.
