Three residents of the Krasnodar Territory were sentenced to terms ranging from 5.5 to 6.5 years for calling for terrorist attacks at airports and trains. This was reported on May 28 in the press service of the Southern District Military Court.

"It was established that during the period from March 1 to March 25, 2023, while in the city of Krasnodar, the defendants decided to record and post on the Internet a video clip containing calls for terrorist activities," the court wrote on its Telegram channel.

According to the investigation, to shoot the video, the defendants bought camouflage clothing, masks, two drones, a model of a Kalashnikov assault rifle for airsoft and an artisanal sign from the Lovtsovo settlement near Moscow. Then one of the men spoke a text in front of the camera, which called for violence and a fight against the current Russian authorities. After that, the video was posted on the Internet.

"In accordance with the verdict of the court, the defendants were found guilty and sentenced to imprisonment in a correctional colony for the term of: [Alexander] Pogorelov — 6 years and 6 months; [Jamal] Mamatkulov — 6 years; [Roman] Myskov is 5 years and 6 months old," the court added.

It is reported that the verdict can be appealed to the Military Court of Appeal.

On May 14, it became known that a resident of Kiselevsk was detained in the Kemerovo region for calling for terrorist activities during celebrations dedicated to the celebration of May 9.
