NMG launches Russia's first system navigator for helping teenagers

The National Media Group (NMG) launches the platform "for teenagers.RF" is Russia's first systematic online resource where teenagers, parents and mentors can find proven help and support.
The project includes social initiatives and organizations working with teenagers, from large federal programs to volunteer and youth centers. There are also helping websites and hotline numbers, non-profit organizations, and government youth projects.
The key partners of the resource are organizations that work directly with teenagers: Movement of the First, Rosmolodezh, Dobro.Russian Federation", "Inspirers", the Federal Adolescent Center and the Alliance for the Protection of Children in the Digital Environment, as well as the Presidential Grants Fund.
The site contains articles on topics relevant to teenagers: bullying, relationships with parents and peers, and digital security. In addition, the "Urgent need for help" button works, which offers two quick options: a call to the children's helpline or support in the "Difficult for teenagers" chatbot.
The platform's interface is tailored to the needs of different users, both teenagers and adults. More than 200 schoolchildren from the Inspirers movement, as well as the wards of the ANO Science and Education, took part in its development. In the future, NMG plans to integrate QR codes on the site's pages into teen TV series, films, and shows produced by the media holding.
"We believe that media can not only entertain, inform, educate, but also inspire and support society. Over the past five years, with the participation of the National Media Group, such landmark projects have appeared that address adolescent issues as "Difficult Teenagers", "The Word of a Kid", "Crybaby", "Super Ninja.Children." We strive to integrate special tools that help with key social issues into all projects. We see that they are really in demand, and we decided to go further by creating a single digital space where everyone can receive not only help in a difficult situation, but also support and inspiration for further development. And, of course, it would have been impossible to do this without the help of the teenagers themselves and our partners," said Svetlana Balanova, General Director of the National Media Group.
According to Elizaveta Belyakova, Chairman of the Alliance for the Protection of Children in the Digital Environment, the launch of the platform is an important step towards systematic and affordable support for teenagers in the digital environment.
"It is worth noting the participation of teenagers themselves in the creation of the platform. This enhances its practical value and relevance. Such a resource can become an entry point to help in crisis situations, as well as in matters of self—determination, communication, and digital security," she added.
Earlier, on May 13, it was reported that NMG won eight nominations of the prestigious industrial XII Award of the Association of Film and Television Producers (APKiT) and received a special prize for its contribution to the development of socially significant content. Thus, digital platforms such as the Difficult for Teenagers chatbot have become an important tool for supporting the Russian population. Inclusive education is being developed through the project "Fun with RYE" at CTC Kids, which provides educational content for children with hearing impairments.
