At least six soldiers were killed in Mexico as a result of an improvised device explosion on the border between the states of Michoacan and Jalisco. This was reported on May 28 by the newspaper El Universal.

"At least six soldiers were killed in an improvised explosive device explosion on the border between the states of Michoacan and Jalisco, where the Jalisco New Generation cartel dominates," the material says.

It is reported that six planes and four helicopters were sent to the scene to provide assistance.

According to security sources, since last Saturday, the Musielagos military group has launched an operation aimed at eliminating the operational and training center of the Jalisco New Generation cartel in Santa Maria del Oro.

On May 27, it became known that five people were victims of an explosion at a chemical plant in Shandong Province in eastern China. It is specified that 19 people were slightly injured.
