The grand opening of the forum "Russia and the world: trends of healthy longevity" took place

On May 27, 2025, the grand opening of the forum "Russia and the World: trends in healthy longevity" took place. The event is organized by the Government of the Russian Federation, the Government of the Moscow Region, the Roscongress Foundation, and the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation.

The opening ceremony was attended by distinguished guests: Auditor of the Accounts Chamber of the Russian Federation Svetlana Orlova, Chairman of the Commission on Physical Culture, Sports and Healthy Lifestyle of the Civic Chamber of the Russian Federation Irina Viner, Director of the Scientific and Clinical Center of Otorhinolaryngology of the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation; freelance specialist otorhinolaryngologist of the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation Nikolai Daikhes, Soviet and Russian folk and pop singer; actress, television and radio presenter; folk song researcher; political and public figure Nadezhda Babkina, First Deputy Chairman of the International Affairs Committee of the State Duma of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation; Honored Master of Sports of Russia Svetlana Zhurova and others.

"The preservation of health is the main socio-economic priority of the state. The forum brings together not only doctors, representatives of the healthcare system, and science. The platform also brought together cultural figures, businesses, food manufacturers, dietary supplements, and bloggers. There are 10 themed sites on the site. Tomorrow, at the plenary session, we will summarize the results that will form the basis of the forum's resolution. The document will be recommended to the subjects of the Russian Federation for use in their work," said Olga Krivonos, Deputy Chief of Staff of the Government of the Russian Federation.

Anastasia Stolkova, First Deputy Director for Development at the Roscongress Foundation and a member of the Public Chamber of the Russian Federation Commission on Healthcare, expressed hope that the forum would become an annual event. She noted that longevity is not only a medical issue: "For the guests and participants of the forum, the original painting by Aivazovsky is presented in the art room. This is a clear indicator that longevity is not only about medicine, it is much broader. Art has a beneficial effect on human health, promotes its spiritual and emotional development. The Forum has become a unique platform that unites medicine, culture, art, media representatives and opinion leaders. We are all working today to build a healthy society."
