Vnukovo International Airport has resumed its normal operation. This was announced on May 28 by the press service of the air harbor.

"Employees of Vnukovo Airport and airlines took all necessary measures to minimize the inconvenience caused to passengers and promptly restore full—fledged work," the Telegram channel says.

It is specified that during the period of restrictions, the air harbor used the maximum number of personnel and production resources in order to quickly return to the usual flight schedule.

Currently, the airport organizes the departures of planes that have been delayed.

Earlier in the day, temporary flight restrictions were imposed at Vnukovo and Zhukovsky airports, as well as at Domodedovo and Sheremetyevo airports. The decision was made to ensure security.

Later, a representative of the Federal Air Transport Agency, Artyom Korenyako, said that 55 planes had landed at alternate airfields amid flight restrictions in Moscow.
