A neighbor of a farming community in Baikalsk noted the long arrival of firefighters after the murder of teenagers

In Baikalsk, Irkutsk region, where five teenagers were killed and houses were set on fire, fire services did not arrive at the scene for a long time. A neighbor of the garden association where the tragedy occurred told Izvestia about this on May 28.

"I went out to watch around four o'clock. I look at the flame. Come here. There's a car, the police. But the firefighters arrived late," he shared.

The man also said that there are almost no people in the areas next to the farming co-op now due to bad weather conditions.

In addition, the footage shows that the house is completely burnt out. At the same time, investigative measures are continuing at the scene of the incident.

The suspect in the case is the babies' father.

The deaths of five teenagers and the wounding of four as a result of a knife attack became known earlier that day. It is specified that after that the alleged suspect set fire to the house and died as a result of the fire that started.

Later, the Commissioner for Children's Rights in the region, Tatyana Afanasyeva, reported that one of the injured children had undergone surgery. An operational headquarters was set up in Baikalsk following the incident. Three days of mourning were also declared after the deaths of the teenagers.
