Preparatory work for the opening of the swimming season is nearing completion in Tula. It will start on Sunday, June 1, and last until August 31. This year, the city has approved nine official recreation areas by the water.

Rospotrebnadzor conducted an inspection of recreation areas. A sanitary and epidemiological report will be ready in the near future. Lifeguards will be on duty at the beaches from June 1.

So, on the beach "Khomyakovskie Polyany", experts poured out and leveled the sand. New benches and urns have appeared there, the territory has been cleaned and improved, TSN24 writes with reference to the city administration.

In addition, divers examined and cleared the bottom of the pond at a depth of 2 m. Water and sand samples showed their safety, said Nikolai Bezrukov, head of the Center for Civil Protection and Rescue Operations.

Earlier it was reported that the beach season in the Moscow region will open on Sunday, June 1. Annual preparatory work is currently underway. 164 beaches and waterside recreation areas will be opened this summer. It is expected that 1.5 million people will visit them. Last season, more than 1.3 million people visited the beaches.
