TFR began checking after the mass poisoning in Noyabrsk

In Noyabrsk, in the Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous District, investigators are conducting a pre-investigation check after reports of mass poisoning of local residents, including children. They all visited the same city cafe.

According to the <url> news agency, with reference to the press service of the Investigative Committee of the Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous District, the poisoning became known during media and social media monitoring. Information about which cafe is in question has not yet been provided. It is also unknown exactly how many people were injured. Investigators are investigating the circumstances of the incident and establishing the circle of victims.

Employees of the Investigative Committee interact with the Rospotrebnadzor authorities in order to obtain an assessment of the sanitary condition of the cafe and verify compliance with safety requirements when providing services.

The agency recalls that residents had previously actively discussed reports of poisoning after going to a catering establishment. According to users on social media, several people have sought medical help with serious symptoms of poisoning. They were all eating shawarma in one of the city cafes.

Earlier, on May 26, it was reported that six people with signs of food poisoning were hospitalized in Bratsk after visiting the Shawarma on Coals catering establishment. In two days, about 10 people applied to medical institutions in Bratsk.
