The son of US President Donald Trump, Donald Trump Jr., said he doubts the ability of former Vice President Kamala Harris to explain the principles of blockchain technology. He announced this on May 27 during his speech at the Bitcoin-2025 conference in Las Vegas, dedicated to the development of cryptocurrencies.

"I would have paid money, a lot of money. Perhaps my entire crypto wallet is for Kamala Harris to explain blockchain technology," he said at the event, which was broadcast on the YouTube channel of Bitcoin Magazine.

According to him, such a performance would be the "greatest verbal salad" of Harris' career. He added that an explanation from her would have looked like "thirty minutes of nothing," and called it a "complete disaster."

On May 19, it was reported that US President Donald Trump announced his intention to initiate an investigation into alleged illegal payments that Harris made to celebrities during his election campaign. He stressed that candidates are prohibited from paying for support, as, in his opinion, Harris did by issuing payments for entertainment.
