The CSTO countries have approved a plan for the training of collective security forces for 2026

The member states of the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO) have agreed on a training plan for the management bodies and formations of the collective security forces for 2026. This was announced on May 28 by the Ministry of Defense of Belarus.

"During the meeting of the Council of Defense Ministers of the CSTO member states, the parties reviewed and signed the organization's decisions on key issues," the department's Telegram channel said.

It is specified that the parties have made a number of decisions concerning military cooperation, joint training and the development of cooperation in the field of supply of the armed forces. The measures taken are aimed at strengthening coordinated approaches to the development of the military component of the organization, taking into account the national interests of all participating countries.

On February 10, it was reported that the CSTO military maneuvers in 2025 will be held in Belarus, Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan, and Kazakhstan. It was clarified that several maneuvers will be held in Belarus this year from September 1-6: exercises with the Collective Rapid Reaction Forces (CRRF) of the CSTO Interaction-2025, with the forces and means of reconnaissance Poisk-2025, as well as with the forces and means of logistics Echelon-2025.
