The Air defense forces eliminated 42 drones of the Armed Forces of Ukraine over the Moscow region overnight

During the night, air defense systems destroyed 42 drones of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU). over 12 municipalities of the Moscow region. This was announced on May 28 by the governor of the region Andrey Vorobyov.

"At night, the Moscow region was attacked by drones. The air defense forces have worked on targets in 12 municipalities of the region. A total of 42 UAVs were shot down by this minute," he wrote on the Telegram channel.

According to him, as a result of the drone attack in the village of Troitsk near Chekhov, three residential buildings were damaged. Vorobyov clarified that there were no casualties. Emergency services are working at the accident sites.

Earlier in the day, the governor of the Kaluga Region announced the destruction of 15 Ukrainian drones over the territory of the region overnight. According to him, the drones were shot down in the territories of Duminichi, Kozelsky, Maloyaroslavetsky, Borovsky, Zhukovsky, Tarussky districts, as well as on the outskirts of the city of Obninsk.
