An earthquake of magnitude 5.9 was recorded off the western coast of Mexico. This was announced on Wednesday, May 28, by the European-Mediterranean Seismological Center (EMSC).
The epicenter of the seismic event was located at a depth of 10 km and 402 km west-southwest of the city of Puerto Vallarta. At least 203 thousand people live in the settlement.
There is no information about casualties or damage.
The Vibes reported on May 23 that a 6.3 magnitude earthquake was recorded off the coast of the Indonesian province of Bengkulu. The disaster damaged at least 34 houses in the administrative center of the region — the city of Kota Benkulu. There were no casualties.
