The military personnel of the Vostok group of forces stopped the attack of Baba-yaga-type unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU). The relevant footage was released by the Russian Defense Ministry on Wednesday, May 28.
It is clarified that the operators of FPV drones during combat missions detected attempts to use Baba-Yaga-type UAVs dropping ammunition on Russian military units. However, the Ukrainian drones were destroyed in a timely manner due to the precise organization of the air defense systems of the near border.
So, one Baba Yaga-type UAV was hit with an accurate shot from small arms with a thermal imaging sight installed, and the remaining ones were eliminated by FPV drone operators.
On May 27, the Russian Defense Ministry announced that the crew of the Su-34 multifunctional supersonic fighter-bomber of the Aerospace Forces (VKS) had struck a temporary deployment point of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the zone of a special military operation (SVO). The strike was carried out at specified coordinates by aerial bombs with a universal planning and correction module (UMPC).
