Deputy Defense Minister Tsivilev made a working trip to the Military District troops


Deputy Minister of Defense of the Russian Federation Anna Tsivileva made a working trip to the troops of the Leningrad Military District (LenVO, LVO), during which she checked the work of the department. This was announced on May 28 by the press service of the Russian Ministry of Defense.
"During a working trip to Leningrad region, State Secretary - Deputy Minister of Defense of the Russian Federation Anna Tsivileva checked the work of the Military Commissariat of St. Petersburg," the statement said.
It is specified that the meeting discussed the organization of the system for the appointment and payment of pensions, allowances and compensations to persons discharged from military service, as well as their family members.
Tsivileva also informed about the launch of a program to introduce an automated information system for pension and social security (AIS PSO) for persons who have served in the military.
"This week we started work on the deployment of the system and plan to implement it in all commissariats of military districts in the near future," she said.
Earlier, on May 24, Russian Defense Minister Andrei Belousov, during a trip to the troops of the Moscow Military District, got acquainted with modern samples of prefabricated modular structures. Representatives of industrial enterprises told the Minister of Defense of the Russian Federation about the technologies used in the construction of block-modular structures. They make it possible to build facilities on difficult terrain, in remote areas, and help reduce energy consumption and infrastructure costs.
