The artillery crew of the 152-millimeter towed gun 2A36 "Hyacinth-B" of the Center group of forces destroyed artillery pieces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) in the Red Army area of the special military operation zone. This was announced on May 28 by the press service of the Russian Ministry of Defense.

"Having received the coordinates of the targets identified with the help of reconnaissance unmanned aerial vehicles, the Hyacinth-B gun crew fired at the coordinates obtained and hit the area of deployment of personnel and firepower of the Armed Forces of Ukraine at a distance of more than 20 km with 152 mm shells," the department said.

At the same time, the fire was adjusted in real time. This made it possible to destroy both the equipment and the enemy's personnel station with a minimum number of shots.

After successfully hitting the targets, the crews camouflaged the equipment and headed for shelters.

"Calculations of Hyacinth-B artillery guns of the Center group of forces perform daily firing tasks to support the actions of assault units and destroy various enemy targets," the Defense Ministry concluded.

Earlier, on May 27, calculations of multiple launch rocket systems (MLRS) "Hurricane" of the Zapad group of forces disrupted the rotation of the Armed Forces units during a combat mission. Enemy positions were discovered earlier during aerial reconnaissance. After that, the coordinates of the found targets were promptly transmitted to the artillery command post.
