Moscow Mayor Sobyanin announced the destruction of three more drones by air defense

Air defense systems destroyed three more unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) The Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) heading towards Moscow. This was announced on May 28 by the mayor of the capital, Sergei Sobyanin, in his Telegram channel.

"Another enemy drone was destroyed <...> The Air Defense Forces of the Ministry of Defense repelled an attack by two drones flying to Moscow," he wrote.

According to Sobyanin, according to preliminary information, there are no casualties or serious injuries. Emergency services are working at the crash site, the mayor added.

The Ministry of Defense clarifies that any terrorist attacks and provocations by Kiev will not go unanswered.

Earlier that day, Sobyanin announced that the air defense forces had shot down four Ukrainian UAVs flying to Moscow. After that, it became known about the destruction of eight more drones on approach to the capital. The mayor noted that the air defense systems of the Russian Ministry of Defense continue to repel attacks by Ukrainian drones. After that, Sobyanin wrote about six more drones that flew to Moscow and were destroyed by air defense.
