Apple shares have fallen by 22% since the beginning of 2025, this is evidenced by the data of the NASDAQ exchange. The company's numerous lawsuits may have led to this, Daniil Arzhakov, a lecturer at the cybersports department of the Game Industry and Cybersports Faculty at Synergy University, told Izvestia.

According to Izvestia's source, one of the biggest failures in Russia was the 16e smartphone - the fourth generation in the line of budget solutions iPhone SE. Its realization in the first three months after the start of sales was 43% worse than the iPhone SE of the previous third generation for the same period in 2022.

"The iPhone and iPad statistics are greatly exaggerated, the real situation is slightly different in units, but they report not in units but in money, nevertheless it is very much combed data, where they collect a lot of things. The discrepancy in the estimates of research companies that work with Apple and those who do not, has become critical," said Eldar Murtazin, lead analyst at Mobile Research Group.

Of the entire iPhone lineup, the 16e model is the least popular, said David Davidian, head of the "Smartphones" division at Wildberries. Its share does not exceed a few percent of total sales of "apple" smartphones.
