SpaceX conducted a test launch of a rocket with a prototype of the Starship spacecraft

On May 27, the American company SpaceX, owned by billionaire Elon Musk, conducted the ninth test launch of a launch vehicle with a prototype of the Starship spacecraft. The corresponding broadcast is conducted on the corporation's page on the social network X (ex.Twitter).

It is specified that the launch of the device took place at 19:36 (02:36 Moscow time on May 28). The launch site was the Starbase cosmodrome in Texas.

During the tests, it is planned to conduct a number of experiments that can help increase the performance of the Starship. It is noteworthy that the two previous launches, conducted in March and January, ended with the loss of the aircraft.

Earlier, on March 7, SpaceX announced the unsuccessful launch of the Starship spacecraft. It was clarified that communication with the device was lost a few minutes after launch.
