The air defense forces shot down six more Ukrainian UAVs heading for Moscow.


Air defense systems shot down six more Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) on their approach to Moscow. This was announced on Wednesday, May 28, by the mayor of the capital, Sergei Sobyanin.
"The air defense forces of the [Russian] Defense Ministry repelled an attack by four drones flying to Moscow," he wrote on his Telegram channel.
Later, Sobyanin announced the destruction of two more UAVs of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU).
Earlier this day, Sobyanin reported that the air defense forces shot down 18 drones of the Armed Forces of Ukraine heading for Moscow. The Russian Ministry of Defense's air defense systems continue to repel attacks by Ukrainian UAVs, the mayor said.
