The body of a newborn was found in the Chukotka Autonomous Region.


The Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation has instructed to open a criminal case on the discovery of the body of a newborn girl in the Chukotka Autonomous Region. This was announced on May 27 by the Investigative Department of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation of the region in its Telegram channel.
"It was established that in the morning of May 27, a baby's corpse was found on the production site of JSC Chukotka Trading Company. The acting prosecutor of the Iultinsky district, Georgy Kuznetsov, went to the scene of the incident," the press service of the regional prosecutor's office reported on its website.
Alexander Bastrykin, Head of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation, instructed Alexander Tyumentsev, head of the Investigative Committee for the Chukotka Autonomous Okrug, to initiate a criminal case and submit a report.
Earlier, on May 27, three adults and three children were injured in an accident in the Volgograd region. A truck and a passenger car collided. The victims received timely medical assistance.
