Air defense systems destroyed six more unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) The Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) on the approach to Moscow. This was announced on Wednesday, May 28, by the mayor of the capital, Sergei Sobyanin.

"The air defense forces of the Ministry of Defense repelled an attack by two drones flying to Moscow," he wrote on his Telegram channel.

Sobyanin later added that the air defense forces destroyed four more Ukrainian UAVs heading for the capital.

At the moment, over the past two hours, an attack by 18 drones has been repelled on the approach to Moscow.

Earlier that day, Sobyanin announced that the air defense forces had shot down four Ukrainian UAVs flying to Moscow. After that, it became known about the destruction of eight more drones on approach to the capital. The mayor noted that the air defense systems of the Russian Ministry of Defense continue to repel attacks by Ukrainian drones.
