A massive attack by unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) was repelled in the Bryansk region The Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU). This was announced on Wednesday, May 28, by the governor of the region, Alexander Bogomaz, in his Telegram channel.
"When an air attack was repelled, windows were damaged in an apartment building in the Fokinsky district of Bryansk," the official said in a statement.
In addition, six vehicles were damaged, Bogomaz said.
He added that there were no casualties as a result of the attack. Emergency services personnel are working at the crash site, the governor concluded.
On the eve of May 27, the Russian Defense Ministry announced that air defense systems destroyed 2,331 Ukrainian attack UAVs over the regions of Russia from May 20 to May 27. The ministry noted that since May 20, Ukraine has multiplied the number of strikes using drones and Western-made rockets against civilian targets on Russian territory.
