The EAEU and Mongolia may sign a free trade agreement at the end of June 2025 at the IV Eurasian Economic Forum in Minsk. This was reported to Izvestia by the Ministry of Economic Development of the Russian Federation.

"The agreement with Mongolia is actually ready for signing. Negotiations have been completed, and internal approval procedures are underway. If everything goes according to plan, we will be able to sign the agreement in Minsk in June. This is exactly what we are aiming for," the ministry said.

Earlier it was reported that the FTA agreement with Mongolia will be temporary and will last for three years, affecting 375 commodity items on each side, for which customs duties will be reduced.
