Sales of the Omoda C7 crossover have begun in Russia


The presentation of the new C7 crossover of the Chinese brand Omoda took place in Moscow. This was reported on May 27 by a correspondent of Izvestia from the scene.
The C7 model is larger than the previous version of the C5, with dimensions of 4660×1875×1670 mm. The car received an alternative 1.6-liter turbo engine with a capacity of 150 hp (275 Nm) with a seven-speed robotic gearbox, the drive can be front or all-wheel drive.
The Omoda C7 will be available in five trim levels. In the basic version for 3.4 million rubles, the crossover has 18-inch wheels, LED headlights, rear parking sensors and a rear-view camera, a "winter package", an electric trunk drive, eco-leather interior trim, a 15.6-inch central multimedia screen with support for Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, an 8.9-inch digital dashboard and others. options.
In the second level of equipment (3.65 million rubles), heated second row seats, navigation, an all-round view system, front parking sensors and side safety shutters are added to this, in particular.
The next two trim levels (3.7 and 3.85 million rubles) do not differ in equipment, but they imply all-wheel drive.
The top version (4.05 million rubles) will feature 19-inch wheels, a panoramic sunroof, an all-round viewing system, a set of assistants with adaptive cruise control, front seats with ventilation and electric adjustments.
Earlier it became known that in April, Russians spent a record amount in 2025 on the purchase of new passenger cars. Compared to March, it increased by 31.3% and amounted to 325.7 billion rubles. The share of Chinese cars in the structure of financial capacity was 57.8%. Next in April's expenses are domestic brands (16.3%), European (14.4%), Japanese (5.4%), Korean (1.7%) and American (1.2%). At the same time, Russians' car purchase costs increased the most in relation to Korean brands — by 79.6% more than a month earlier (up to 5.5 billion rubles).
