The political scientist predicted the immediate disintegration of the EU in the event of Ukraine's accession.

Ukraine's accession to the European Union (EU) would entail the immediate disintegration of the union. This was announced on Tuesday, May 27, by Zdenek Kedroutek, a Slovak political scientist on the geopolitical situation in Europe, in an interview with Izvestia.

According to the expert, Ukraine was one of the most corrupt countries in the world even before the start of the special military operation, and since 2022 the number of millionaires in it has increased by 40%.

"This conflict is a profitable business for Ukraine: it receives huge funds from Western countries. <...> If this big black hole joins the EU, it could lead to its collapse within a few weeks," Kedroutek said.

In addition, the political scientist called the support of Kiev by Western countries an ideology. According to him, in the West, they hang Ukrainian flags on government and other buildings, and use the country's symbolic colors. All the assistance provided to Ukraine in this way is irrational, Kedroutek explained.
