The embankment, which was built in the Northern district of the city in previous years, was extended in Kurgan. Anton Naumenko, the mayor of the city, announced this in his Telegram channel.

"Under the program "Creating a comfortable urban environment", the mini-embankment was extended, which in previous years was built near apartment buildings No. 2 and 4 on Lunacharsky Street," the mayor said.

In 2025, the embankment was extended to house No. 2 on Kalinina Street. A pedestrian zone was built on the segment, the edges and slopes were reinforced, and culverts were made. According to the <url> news agency, fresh soil has already been brought to the lawn.

According to Naumenko, landscaping work is still ongoing. It is planned to install pergolas with swings and benches in the near future. However, the territory is already open for walks and recreation.
