The Moscow City Court recognized the lawful arrest of blogger Hasanov in absentia.

The Moscow City Court has declared lawful the arrest in absentia of blogger Huseyn Hasanov. This was reported on May 27 by a correspondent of Izvestia from the courtroom.

It is clarified that the blogger is accused of legalizing money earned as a result of tax evasion in the amount of more than 170 million rubles.

On May 14, Hasanov was put on the international wanted list under a criminal article. According to the portal of the courts of general jurisdiction of Moscow, the decision to arrest the blogger was appealed.

He has already paid damages to 64 of the 113 victims in his case.

In October 2024, the Moscow Arbitration Court granted the claim of businesswoman Yulia Milchenko for the recovery of 10 million rubles from Gasanov's former company, Banda LLC. The claim of the individual entrepreneur Milchenko against the Moscow company was filed in early July.

Before that, on June 15, the Federal Tax Service (FTS) filed a lawsuit against Hasanov for debts in the amount of 144.8 million rubles. On August 16, it became known that the blogger had paid off the debt owed to the agency. In this regard, on September 5, the Arbitration Court of the capital terminated the proceedings in the case.
