Peskov confirmed the discussion of gas issues between Putin and Fidan

Russian President Vladimir Putin and Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan touched upon issues related to energy cooperation during the talks. This was announced on May 27 by Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov.

According to him, "to some extent" the gas issue was also discussed during the conversation, the presidential press secretary said, answering a question from journalists.

At a press conference in Moscow, Fidan, responding to a question from Izvestia, said on May 27 that Russia was informing Turkey about attacks on the infrastructure of the Turkish Stream gas pipeline from Ukraine. According to Fidan, to date, no damage has been caused to the Turkish Stream.
