Putin launched the second season of the "This is our family" contest

Russian President Vladimir Putin has launched the second season of the All-Russian competition "This is our family". He announced this on May 27 during a meeting of the Supervisory Board of ANO "Russia — the land of opportunities".

Andrey Betin, the General Director of the organization, clarified that preparations for the second season of the competition have been completed in accordance with the previously given instructions of the president. He appealed to the head of state with a request to allow the launch of a new stage.

"Of course," Putin replied.

The competition is held to support and promote family values. It is noted that in September last year, Putin instructed to make it an annual event.

On July 8 last year, the President of the Russian Federation met with the winners of "This is our family". During the conversation with the participants of the meeting, Putin called the strengthening of families the main priority of the country, and also supported the idea of creating a special holiday in the country for large families so that members of such families could attend cultural and entertainment events free of charge on this day.
