FC Khimki will challenge the refusal of the RFU commission to grant him a license to participate in the RPL

Khimki Football Club (FC) has filed an appeal against the decision of the Russian Football Union (RFU) commission not to grant it a license to participate in the Russian Premier League (RPL) in the 2025/26 season. This was announced on May 27 by the club's press service in the Telegram channel.

According to Dmitry Brekhov, General Director of FC Khimki, the team hopes to reach a fair decision on time.

"We proceed from a positive scenario and continue to do a lot of work aimed at stability, fulfillment of our obligations, and high sporting results," Brekhov said, quoted on the club's Telegram channel.
