The State Duma on Tuesday, May 27, adopted in the second and third readings a government bill providing for adjustments to the Labor Code of the Russian Federation regarding the procedure for taking into account employee performance when calculating bonuses.
According to the amendments, employers will be able to take into account disciplinary penalties when calculating bonus payments. In fact, this means the possibility of reducing employee bonuses for misconduct, if such a condition is provided for by internal acts of the organization.
"Such a reduction should not reduce monthly wages by more than 20%," the document says, as cited by TASS.
The document states that bonuses are established by collective agreements and local acts, taking into account labor efficiency and possible disciplinary penalties.
