- Putin pointed out the need to build a social policy of the Russian Federation around the family.

The social policy of the Russian Federation should be built around the family. This was stated on May 27 by Russian President Vladimir Putin at a meeting of the Supervisory Board of the Autonomous Non—Governmental Organization "Russia - the land of Opportunities".
"The entire social policy of the state should be built around the family and its interests," he stressed.
The President stated that initiatives aimed at supporting family values should not be considered as simple propaganda or advertising. According to him, this is an important part of the state's efforts to improve the quality of life of citizens.
The Russian leader also added that although discussing social policy may seem uninteresting, aspects such as salaries and benefits are of great importance to society. In addition, they help to create a positive image of family policy.
Svetlana Bessarab, a member of the State Duma Committee on Labor, Social Policy and Veterans' Affairs, spoke on March 27 about the number of payments for large families. Since 2007, over 14 million families have received maternity capital, and more than 10 million children have received a single child benefit. Starting this year, working parents with two or more children will be able to form family payments from the paid personal income tax, which will be available in 2026.
