- The expert named the most profitable summer work options for people without experience

Due to the shortage of personnel, the Russian labor market has undergone significant changes. The very concept of "full-time staff" has become more flexible. Now many HR specialists include employees who periodically work as freelancers in this category. The crisis in the labor market has increased the demand for temporary staff. Irina Pak, HR Director of the NC Logistic logistics operator, told Izvestia on May 29 about which profitable side-work options people without experience can choose.
"Among the industries that remain highly active, warehouse and transport logistics stand out, which is experiencing an acute shortage of personnel," she said.
In warehouse logistics, storekeepers, pickers of goods and operators of the warehouse management Information System (WMS) are most in demand. Storekeepers are responsible for accounting for goods in the warehouse, pickers collect orders for customers, and WMS operators process data on goods and monitor their movement. No experience is required to work as a storekeeper and picker, it is enough to be able to handle a computer and basic modern gadgets, a WMS specialist needs basic IT skills. These employees are employed in warehouses of logistics operators, marketplaces, and retail companies. Pickers also work at pick-up points.
The shortage of warehouse staff led to an increase in wages. In the Moscow region, even novice specialists in the position of storekeeper can receive from 95 thousand to 100 thousand rubles per month. With the help of data collection terminals, storekeepers control the acceptance, placement and shipment of goods without encountering heavy physical labor — all goods are moved by movers.
"A storekeeper's job can be a good part-time job option for recent graduates of educational institutions. It is possible to agree on a shift schedule that allows you to combine work with other employment," Pak said.
The obvious summer job option is courier delivery. There is also an acute shortage of staff. The advantage for candidates is that during the summer period there are no difficulties with delivery due to adverse weather conditions. In Moscow, foot couriers earn an average of 80,000 rubles per month. You can select orders in your own and nearby areas to avoid excessive workload.
Traditionally, in summer, the activity of job seekers in the logistics labor market decreases due to the beginning of the summer vacation season. Many potential candidates switch to work on the land, especially in the regions. Therefore, it will not be difficult to find a part-time job with decent pay.
"As for white-collar workers, in the summer it is easiest to find part-time work for IT specialists, as well as employees working in the field of advertising and PR, for example, a marketing assistant, an SMM manager, a copywriter or a designer. In both cases, it is possible to carry out temporary projects with piecework payment. As a rule, it is not easy to find qualified specialists in these areas, so customers usually turn a blind eye to other jobs and evaluate the skills of applicants in fact.
However, without experience, you can get a job as an office manager, who in the Moscow region receives from 70 thousand rubles. In small and medium-sized companies, these functions are often performed by one person, so replacing them during a vacation becomes a problem. This position can be a good starting point for a career, as employees with administrative experience are always appreciated by employers.
"Do not forget about the call center operators, who often have the opportunity to work remotely. In this position, a salary of 65 thousand rubles is offered. When choosing a summer part—time job, it is enough to open any news portal and get acquainted with the materials about which vacancies are currently in short supply," the HR director explained.
According to her, the business openly talks about the shortage of personnel, trying to attract the attention of applicants. Many companies release their own job applications, where in a couple of clicks you can choose a convenient area of work, schedule and payment for a shift.
Earlier, on March 27, Ekaterina Bolotova, an expert on career guidance and career strategies at the MAXIMUM Education Career Academy, spoke about the pros and cons of working in the first year. She noted that the learning process in the first year requires a period of adaptation, especially in the context of new learning formats and large amounts of information.
