Russian tennis player Mirra Andreeva defeated Spanish athlete Kristina Buksha in the first round of the French Open Roland Garros in Paris. The match took place on May 27 and ended with a score of 6:4, 6:3 in favor of the Russian.

It is specified that the match lasted one hour and 22 minutes. Andreeva was seeded at number six. This is her 26th victory this season.

In the second round, Andreeva will face the winner of the Susan Lamens (Netherlands) – Ashlyn Krueger (USA) match.

On May 21, Russian Andrey Rublev defeated German representative Justin Engel in the second round match of the Association of Tennis Professionals (ATP) tournament in Hamburg.
