The Moscow Administrative Road Inspectorate (MADI) has tightened control on five streets in the capital's Central Administrative District. In these areas, drivers most often leave cars under forbidding signs or on sidewalks, Moskovsky Deptrans reported on its Telegram channel on May 27.

Thus, MADI increased patrols on 1st Krasnogvardeisky Passage, Komsomolskaya Square, Kursky Railway Station Square, Dubininskaya Street and Presnensky Val Street. Increased control will increase traffic capacity on these streets and reduce the number of emergencies, said Maxim Liksutov, Moscow's Deputy Mayor for Transport.

Monitoring of the road network takes place daily, so the areas with the highest number of traffic violations are identified, the Department of Transport indicated and noted that an incorrectly parked car can cause an accident and also interfere with the passage of special equipment.

Earlier, on March 7, inspectors from the Moscow Administrative Traffic Inspectorate tightened control on four other streets of the capital. And from February 10 — on five.
