Sobyanin promised to turn the former Kolomenskoye industrial zone into a modern district.

In the capital, specialists are carrying out landscaping work on the territory of the former Kolomenskoye industrial zone. Housing is being built here, social and business infrastructure is being built, and a comfortable space is being created for walking and recreation, said Mayor Sergei Sobyanin.

In his Telegram, he noted that a modern district is being formed on the territory of the former industrial zone. Two kindergartens with 270 places and a school for 900 students have already been built. There are plans to build another kindergarten, a polyclinic, a technopark, a sports complex and a business center.

The reorganized territory is located in the districts of Moskvorechye-Saburovo, Tsaritsyno, Nagorny, Nagatino-Sadovniki. "Two planning projects have been approved," the mayor said.

In April, it was reported that Sobyanin had approved the draft layout of a part of the former Kolomenskoye production zone No. 30. As stated in the publication, the territory of 115.5 hectares is occupied by "outdated industrial, municipal, warehouse and other facilities."

It is planned to build over 1.9 million square meters here. real estate, to reconstruct about 4.5 km of the street and road network, to carry out works on the engineering support of the territory.
