The underground passage construction project will be "unfrozen" in Krasnodar

The Krasnodar authorities have decided to return to the underground passage construction project. Several previously "frozen" crossings may be built in the next 3-5 years. This was announced by Vladimir Arkhipov, Deputy head of the city for Construction, Transport and road management.
According to him, quoted by KrasnodarMedia news agency, the construction of such facilities is mainly financed from the regional budget. The projects have been around for a long time, but many of them need to be adjusted and updated. They should be returned to them within the next year.
In particular, we are talking about future underpasses on Vishnyakova Street, Red Square and the intersection of Krasnaya, Gavrilov Streets and Neftyanikov Highway. There are pre-design developments along Krasnaya, Severnaya, and Stavropol streets, as well as in the area of Sunny Island.
Within 3-5 years, the authorities should adjust the projects, taking into account, among other things, their importance.
In mid-April, it was reported that major repairs of the Turgenevsky Bridge over the Kuban River had started in Krasnodar. The work will go on both day and night.
