Russia sees that European countries continue to supply weapons to Ukraine, and this is an indirect participation in the conflict against the country. This was announced on May 27 by Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov.

"We see that Europe is indirectly participating, and the supply of weapons, various weapons systems, and ammunition continues. This is indirect participation in the war against Russia," Peskov said at a briefing.

According to him, these actions by Europe do not contribute in any way to the peaceful settlement of the Ukrainian conflict.

On May 26, German Chancellor Friedrich Merz announced that the United Kingdom, France, Germany and the United States had lifted range restrictions on weapons supplied to Ukraine. He noted that this decision is aimed at giving Ukraine the opportunity to attack targets in Russia.
