Russia condemns the increased attacks by the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) on the country's regions. This was announced on May 27 by Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov.

"These actions by Kiev, of course, they are at odds with the desire for a peaceful process. And, of course, we condemn these actions," he said at a briefing.

The press secretary of the President of the Russian Federation stressed that the attacks of the Ukrainian army on Russian regions also do not contribute to the advancement of the peace process.

Earlier in the day, the Russian Defense Ministry announced that in response to massive drone attacks by the Ukrainian army in the country's regions, the Russian military is striking exclusively at military installations and the military-industrial complex of Ukraine. The ministry warned that the Russian Armed Forces will continue to strike at the Ukrainian military infrastructure in response to any terrorist attacks and provocations.
